The CCCNZ Youth  Summer School of Youth Ministry is an opportunity to enjoy summer, meet new friends, and become better equipped to serve in youth ministry in 2020. It's aimed at any youth leader aged 18 and over and will be held from 27-31 January 2020 at Chosen Valley Christian Camp in South Auckland:

The mornings will be spent together learning practical ministry skills  and exploring a range of relevant topics (see below), with the CCCNZ Youth Enabler Murray Brown. Sessions will include a mix of teaching, discussion and workshops.

Afternoons are free time! You can swim or kayak in the lake, go to the beach, read a book - whatever you like!

In the evenings we will meet together for worship, inspiration, sharing and prayer.

You'll need to organise your own transport, although if you want to fly into Auckland airport we'll arrange to meet you and take you to the campsite.

The cost for the week, including accommodation in cottages and all meals is $345 but we are offering $150 scholarships for those in CCCNZ churches who are already in youth leadership or who have been appointed to a youth leadership role in 2019, making the final cost just $195.

Note: We've timed the Summer School of Youth Ministry to follow on from Festival One which is held from 24-27 January just south of Hamilton. If you're travelling from a long way away, maybe you want to consider doing both?

Registration, which includes an application for a scholarship, is available via the link below. Numbers are limited. Registrations close Monday 16 December 2019.

You can also download an outline of our two year curriculum below along with flyers to hand to youth leaders who may be interested.
